Thank you very much for your detailed answer.

I see that the issue is related with my IDM.

I did exactly same thing, it still doesn't work.

If I write parameter1 = CVR=FIORI directly in the ABAP package, it works; however parameter1= %MX_PARAMETER% still doesn't do anything. The value I am typing in the UI is not added to system.

Maybe the problem is caused by something else.
